The event begins at 10 a.m. with a cup of coffee in the Rover’s dining room, and then you will be escorted into the Rover’s kitchen for a lamb butchery demonstration from Chef Thierry and a culinary demonstration from Rover’s Chef de Cuisine Rob Sevcik. Stop into Dish it up! from the Ballard Famers’ Market on Sunday, January 29 for chef demonstrations using American Lamb, wine tasting and more. Seattle chefs Tom Black (of the soon-to-be-open Restaurant Bea) will be whipping up lamb meatballs and Brian O’Connor (of Skillet Diner) will be serving up a comforting MoroccanLambStew. To pair with the bites will be sips of Foundry Vineyards (including the 2008 Fire Red and the 2007 Artisan Blend) and Hestia Cellars (tasting their 2009 Red Blend) wines. FREE!!!
